Jonathan back at work :(

Miles was most upset and asked Daddy to stay home and go to the park with us :( broke both j's and my heart.. but needs must so off he goes.

Hope he will find  a job he likes more soon - he is just in charge of about a hundred people and all he does all day long is go to meetings, write reports and manage people doing the work that he wants to be more involved in doing.  Its just like  a managers role and yeah it pays well but he just sits in his office all day managing people and honestly it would drive me mad - he gets calls from people asking the most stupid question, like they cant think for themselves.. it would drive me INSANE to have to manage those kinds of pointless questions from people every minute of the day.

Before he was the one traveling around managing the building of the hotel or the shopping centre instead of the one sitting in the office managing the people who are managing those builds.. and its annoying the hell out of him.

Hopefully 2011 he can get a new job and do more travel for his work... also means lots of frequent flyer points for us :)

Also Greta is going through an annoying stage at nap times.  She has worked out that when we put her in her cot, if she unclips her dummy and throws it out the cot then we hear it fall and know she wont sleep without her dummy and so we will go in there to get it for her.  She doesnt cry she is just refusing to go to sleep at nap times and bed times, she simply unclips it and throws it over the cot then sits/stands up and chats to herself till we go in.  last night we put her to bed at 6.30pm and she did this till almost 8pm!

She is in her cot meant to be having her nap now but is doing the dummy chuck over and over again - we just keep taking it in turns to go in there and clip it back on and lay her back down, no speaking and no tyt contact, also pop her dolly back in there that she has in her cot and throws out! She is dolly OBSESSED!!

She will eventually get it and work out it gets her no-where as we still leave her in her cot till she naps - it just means her naps take forever as it takes up to 2 hours for her to even get to sleep! And i promised Miles we would go to th park today - which he was most confused by as Jonathan took the car to work today so he was bafflled about how we would get to the park.. erm we walk little man lol!!

TT training going well - we can now take our undies on and off.  i have moved the potty into the bathroom now and will get him using the toliet by the end of this week.. We have a rewards chart and if he gets 4 stars he gets a reward - i got a few Matchbox cars from Woolies and a packet of crayons and some bubbles so he gets to choose a reward every 4 stars he gets..

Oh there goes the dummy again!  I think if this continues any longer than a couple days i will be taking the dummy away - Miles never had one so im not sure about how to do it but im not impressed!!

Ok best go give it back to her - and no doubt her doll too.
