Blogs!

Wow - well... i joined some great blogs a while back and have been an avid follower.. but recently what with returning to work i haven't read any of them and yesterday vowed to get back into at least one of them  and chose what i thouht would be a pretty easy and light read http://lplategreenie.blogspot.com/ however i clicked on it and scrolled back through the few posts i'd missed and came to the saddest story i've read in a while now - well apart from the QLD devastatoin - so of course had to read that blog too and now i have an extra blog that i will have to try and keep up with! But just reading through that blog - wow it really puts your life into perspective and i like to think im a positive person anyway and know im damn lucky in life but that really makes me stop myself if i ever think about having a whinge...so so sad.

Anyway, in other news - Disney Live yesterday was great and so so good to go out with just Miles, as we always have Greta with us so he never gets the one on one time anymore - well i know he had it for 2 full yrs till Greta was born but he never gets it now... and he is the most un-jealous (if thats even a word!) kid i know, must get it from his Daddy - i always say he was born without the jealous gene - i remember a few years ago i was going out every weekend with a guy from work and Jonathan would say oh its great you have a friend over here as we were new to Australia - anyway one evening he came to pick me up and met my friend for the first time and said - oh i didnt know he was gay! i couldnt believe that i hadnt told him he was gay - so he thought id been going out every weekend with this straigh gay and didnt even bat an eye lid!
I think id have had something to say if he was going out with a girl every weekend.. Anyway Miles is that same - I can go into a shop and pick something up for Greta and say we are just getting a gift for her today and Miles asks if he can have one and i say no and he just goes oh ok then.
I so wish i was like that but im not. im not a particualarly jealous person but about average i guess - i would have had a fit if my mum had bought my sister a gift in a shop and not me, she'd have had to have bought us one each!

Anyway after all that waffle, we had lunch in the city yesterday then say Disney Live and then came home on a tram and a train and Miles was SO SO good.m he had a ball :)

Going to re-arrange his bedroom today - he has way too many storage units in there and he doesnt need any as we now have a play room, so going to move them to the garage for Jonathan to use..

Hmmm still feels wrong posting about my life with these terrible floods in QLD and so many lives lost :(

Perhaps i should just leave it for a while...
